Hi, I’m Jo, founder of Illuminated Minds Clinic.
A place for growth, freedom & creating positive change.
A place to get back in touch with who you really are, free from all the stresses, strains & traumas of life.
I believe that everyone deserves to have a happy and fulfilled life.
After overcoming a lot of my own past traumas throughout my childhood & adult life, I have a deep empathy and understanding of how people can suffer from mental health issues.
I have had a lifelong interest in Psychology and have spent my adult life educating myself and building the skills I need to help others heal from their own traumas and support them in facilitating positive change in their lives. Volunteering to provide support to people through various mental health charities is very close to my heart and something I feel is important for me to do in today’s world.
I’m extremely passionate about Mental Health, and so achieving the highest professional qualification was essential to me, and so I trained with Clifton Practice (CPHT) considered to be the most prestigious Hypnotherapy Training School in the UK.
I’m very proud to state that the qualifications I hold are:
DSFH – Diploma for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy
HPD – Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma – This is considered the Gold Standard Hypnotherapy Qualification accredited by the NCFE.
I am a member of The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and The National Council for Hypnotherapy, and I am also registered with The Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), which is a regulatory body in the UK Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
I am also a fully accredited Belief Coding® facilitator.
I hold an enhanced DBS, I am fully insured and attend regular supervision sessions to ensure a high quality of service.
Sessions can be either face to face at my clinic in Hyde, Cheshire, or I also offer online sessions via Zoom.
