Depression & Low Mood
While it is natural to experience moments of feeling down, depression can feel like a heavy, constant fog that wraps around your mind, leaving you feeling helpless, trapped, and uncertain of how to find your way out.
Living with depression often forces life onto pause. It can make even the smallest daily tasks feel like monumental struggles, causing you to quietly retreat from the world and those who care about you. When negative thoughts become overwhelming, they can feel almost paralysing—making you doubt your ability to make decisions, focus on worst-case scenarios, and feel lost within your own life.
Please know that feeling this way is not a personal failure, nor does it mean you will feel like this forever. Your mind and body are simply exhausted, calling out for a safe space to rest, feel held, and gently heal.
Whether you choose Counselling or Hypnotherapy, we will work together to find a gentle, compassionate approach that feels right for you. We will always move strictly at your own pace, meeting your experiences with soft curiosity, warmth, and complete understanding.
In Counselling, I offer a quiet, comforting sanctuary where you don’t have to pretend everything is okay. Together, we can gently explore what lies beneath your low mood, process difficult emotions without judgment, and use compassionate CBT and solution-focused techniques to help you take tiny, manageable steps toward feeling hopeful again.
If you choose Hypnotherapy, we focus on lowering stress levels and lifting the mind out of dark, heavy cycles. Through gentle guided imagery during hypnosis, we work with your subconscious mind to soothe an overstretched nervous system, soften rigid negative thoughts, and gently spark a renewed sense of possibility, warmth, and well-being.
Together, we will focus on helping you step out of the fog, reconnect with your inner strength, and gradually rebuild a life that feels fulfilling, peaceful, and bright.
